Leadership / Management Tip
Stay home if you are ill.

There was a time when hard-working leaders and managers powered through a cold or flu, showing up for work and working 12 hours a day. In the process, they served as excellent germ vectors, spreading their infection to others. Those days are long gone. You need to set an example for personal care and hygiene, work-life balance, public health, and public safety. Stay home if you are ill. Feel free to continue working from home, but don't give your team the impression that this is your expectation of them when they are ill.
